My webcam wont connect on windows live messenger..why not?

i cam starts when i make a video call but wont connect with other chat partner

Windows Live is updating servers, but they apparently forgot to tell anyone. Some are able to log in to Windows sites but many cannot. If you can't login, you don't have the ability to post on the Help Forums to report the problem. Give it some time... mine is still down after 4.5 hours so far. Cross your fingers! :)
