How to get this msn messenger thing to stop popping up every time i turn on my laptop!?

simple, i just use http://chatab.com which lets me sign into my msn messenger or any other chat IM i use like facebook, it is really conveniant and you can browse the internet within chatab. i nevver get any popups or anything there.

first uninstall it the best choice ,or then check on on the start menu is not programmed to start when you turn on your PC

the msconfig way is really the best because you can stop multiple applications from starting up with your computer...that being said... the legitimate way to stop the application from starting with the machine is once msn messenger loads right click on it's icon in the system tray and go to options / or preferences whichever is aailable and under general uncheck "start messenger when windows starts" option. then you'll be all set.
