What are the red marks under the Ferrari F1 cars in the pit?

    It looks like it's just part of the decor, it seems to be there just to mimic tyre tracks but in red. Here's a pic to show people what you mean, (The red lines under the car) http://flickr.com/photos/59706935@N00/2555034970/

The only thing I can think of is the tyre warmers somehow leave a mark behind. I found this, but it's from 2005 and I think these have been banned now: http://www.vasanth.in/2005/06/27/FerrarisControversialTireWarmers.aspx Or it could be something like the writing on the new warmers is wearing off: http://www.m-a-horne.co.uk/about-us.php I couldn't find a picture showing the red marks you were referring to, can you provide a link to a picture? The above answer is funnier though!
