It may be owned by K2 but the quality is horrible, theirs a reason why products like morrow,lamar,5150 and sims are so cheap. Don't bother with them if you plan on riding a lot, trust me it'll only hold you back. Some QUALITY brands you should be looking at GNU libtech Omatic Stepchild Capita Neversummer K2 Forum Rome Bataleon Avoid pretty much all the brands sold at those big retail stores "D&icks, sports check, sports authority, big 5 ect ect". Pretty much all the brands sold there "5150,Lamar,LTD,Sims,morrow" are low end garbage decks that any boarder planning to go a lot shouldn't bother buying, They'll only end up holding you back. Places to buy snowboards and or clothes/equipment http://backcountryoutlet.com http://moosejaw.com http://dogfunk.com http://www.sierrasnowboard.com/ http://the-house.com http://www.boardparadise.com/snow/ http://www.spadout.com/c/snowboarding/ http://www.brociety.com/ - timed sales, you could get lucky though. As far as the size goes it'll depend on what type of riding you're looking to do, But you'll need a wide. 12 and up is generally when you want a wide, If you're looking for more of an all mountain ride look anywhere from 158-161, freestyle 154-157, Freeride 162-165

Jake M has it right, Morrow is a low end, low quality board you need to look at Lib tech Gnu Ride Rome K2 DC Capita Nitro Never Summer if you want quality you probably want a wide board with your shoe size a good board size for you would be around a 157-164, towards the lower end for park boards, the middle for an all mountain board and towards the top for freeride boards

EastCoastRider

K2 Sports owns Morrow, K2, Ride, 5150, Line, Atlas, Tubbs, etc. You can view the whole list on their site link below. Within each of those labels there have been a range of quality levels. As always it depends which model you will get, and that the sizing is correct for you. This is way more important than which brand name is printed on the topsheet. The problem with the Hemisphere 163 for you is that you are at the very top of its weight range (up to 220 lbs) which is never ideal. You should always try to stay in the core of the weight range as these are typically already bumped up a little. This board will likely feel too soft for you at your size.
