Is it okay to buy snowboarding jackets fromm sports authority and dic.ks sporting goods? I already have a Burton board and boots and stuff. Just wondering..

dont get spyder. its a racer brand and a skiier and every1 hates racers :)) get grenade or burton. d1cks has these brands but way over prices them and has a small selection. ur better off ordering online or going to a zumiez or snowboard shop

Yeah those are some pretty good stores. Some other stores that have some pretty good quality stuff is the local board shops near the mountain. Check out some of those stores and you can find some good gear
