Advice on new ice skates?

I need some advice on ice skates?

  • Hello has anybody had any experience with the Edea Overture ice skates. I need some advice on buying them from this address ...show more

  • Answer:

DO NOT BUY SKATES FROM SPORT CHECK OR CANADIAN TIRE. Geez. What an idiot who posted first. I have not had any experience with Edeas. But mate, you live in England. There are an abundance of English stores online with very good reputations. And you should never buy skates online that you haven't been fitted for. Go to Edea's official website and check out their dealer listings. Find the UK ones. And go get fitted properly, or there's a very good chance you'll waste your money. It's the UK, it's tiny, you can't possibly be that far from a pro shop or dealer.

Always bend your knees, if you don't you could easily fall down. Always fall down frontwards, not backwards because if you fall down frontwards, you are prepared, if you fall down backwards, your not prepared! always wear a helmet without a crack in it or a dent( it could easily break). If you it's your first time, hold on to the fiberglass board. This is tips for Ice skating! Need some advice for ice skates? Go to Sport Check. They have lots of Hockey/Figure skaters there. Canadian Tire is another option too.
