How do you ski? How do you dress for it?

The things you need to bring are already said by other people. The best tip i can give you for skiing is to be confident and don't be scared. go fast and try things even though you are certain that you are going to fall. BTW, falling doesn't hurt, it is actually kinda fun to fall:)

Snow pants, coat, gloves, helmet, bandana to keep face semi warmish, don't worry about shoes (I assume your renting skis and ski boots) find a friend who knows how to ski and get him/her to teach you.
