Try doing some kind of exercises for your wrists and hands and ankles. For your hands and wrists, just turning your wrists in a circular motion will help with the muscles by stretching the muscles and keeping them limber. Also, any kind of stretching like spreading your fingers out as far as you can or something simple as touching each finger to your thumb a few times will help. As for your ankles, just keeping them moving will help from them getting really stiff and painful. Try taking some anti-inflammitories for the pain like Aleve or ibuprophen. If it does not get better within a week, go see your doctor, they may be able to send you to the right people or run some tests to see what else can be done.
