Tips/best ways to prepare for the English Literature SAT subject test?

    Well, I haven't taken it, but from what I've heard from other students, the SAT II literature exam is like the critical reading on the SAT I on crack. The questions on the SAT II are a lot harder, and actually require you to think. It really doesn't matter the novels you read or the essays you've written in English class because it doesn't test you on any of that. From what I've heard, know some poetry terms, and the rest is just skills that you either have or don't have, also meaning that you can't study for it. A friend who scored in the high 700's recommended the Kaplan SAT Subject Test for Literature. She said that doing a lot of practice tests will help gage for the kinds of questions that will show up on the exam. Best of luck
