Where can i get a work permit when im 14?

I am 14 years old and im home schooled and i want a work permit to get a job/to get emancipated.what do i do?

    Have you considered part-time enrollment in school? I know it sounds crazy, but it would get you out of the house for a couple hours a day. I've had two sons take a couple classes at the local high school while being home or virtual schooled for the rest of their credits. A little separation goes a long way. If the idea of high school is distasteful, try enrolling in a local community college class. My eldest son did this as well and really enjoyed it. He had to sign a form saying he wasn't "missing any school" to take the class (well, duh, it *was* his school) but otherwise he had no problems. You can get job training and hook up with apprenticeships through a community college program, too.

If you get emancipated won't you then have to go to school because you're too young not to be in education? Which would cut down time for a job to support yourself? Sounds like a bit of a non-starter. Sorting out your issues with your parents would make more sense.
