The requirements are different in each state, but in Arizona all you have to have is a high school diploma or G. E. D. and six months experience as a pre-school teachers aide. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and teach in a pre-school in the 2 year old class. The young kids out of high school have no idea how to manage and organize a classroom, teach children and keep order. It can be total chaos when I arrive in my class. I hope your state has stricter rules as the children we are teaching now are the future leaders of our country.
