Deciding how much to charge for in-home daycare?

I've asked around and most daycares in this area charge about $80-$90 a week per child. Should I charge that much or less since I'm running an in-home daycare? I originally ...show more

You want your rate to be in the high average range. Also if you are licensed with your state you will be able to participate in the USDA food program. This will help you with the cost of food....trust me it is worth the trouble! Once you have been in business for a while you will be able to raise your rate. I can't believe childcare is so cheap in your area!! Maybe you should do some more research?
