How get from clapham south to kings cross station?

Need 2 get from Redhill to kings cross train station ?

  • oki so i need 2 know how i can get from redhill to kings cross station . what platforms do i take ? and the cost for a return ? and the cheapest way . i would also like to know ...show more

  • Answer:

If First Capital Connect Thameslink trains serve your station, they go direct to King's Cross. Otherwise get a train to Victoria and then the Victoria Line underground to King's Cross. Buy tickets from the ticket office at the station - day return is the cheapest if you're coming back the same day. Assuming you live near to Redhill Station, go there on the day before your travel and you can get all your information in advance

You will need to catch the train that goes to London Bridge from Redhill on the Southern Railways train, once at London Bridge you will need to catch a tube to London Kings Cross unsure of platforms check monitors when arriving at the station, your cheapest fare for return is £12.50 but this is on off peak return so is only valid on trains after 0930 You can buy tickets on line or telephone or you can purchase your tickets from Redhill station, days before you go

First Capital Connect doesn't serve Redhill. There are two ways to travel. Either by Northern Line City Branch, (Black on tube map) from Kings Cross to London Bridge where you catch a Southern train to Redill (leaving London Bridge at 18 and 48 minutes past each hour). Althernatively, southbound Victoria line tube from Kings Cross (light blue on map) to Victoria, then again a Southern service to Redhill (trains leave Victoria at 02 and 32 minutes past each hour). Anytine Day Return is £21.70. but this includes the cost of tube travel. You would be better off getting a 1 day travel card for the tube and paying £8.90 for an Off peak Return from Victoria or London Bridge. Can't give you platform details, sorry, look at the indicators. You can buy the tickets for the Southern part of the journey at http://www.thetrainline.com/ but will have to buy the travel card from the machine at Kings Cross underground station Later - Timbo - tickets in the UK DO NOT have platform numbers on them,.
