What is the best software for deleting cookies and one thats free?

if you go to tools/Internet options/and Press Delete Cookies its Free!

YOU DONT NEED ANY PROGRAM, JUST DELETE THEM WITH YOUR BROWSER

spybot is another good program to use. remember that you may wish to keep some cookies. they help keep track of some options that you have used at a web site, that you may not wish to reenter each time you visit. you can also go into the internet options of firefox or ie and set the automatic download feature of cookies, for instance I have to approve all cookies (sometimes a pain in the neck but I only get the ones I want) or you can say allow cookies from the web site I am on, but do not allow a 3rd party site to send a cookie, like an advertising site thats on the web site your at. this will keep down the number and may stop some of the malicious cookies from loading.

If you use Internet Explorer, go to Tools --> Internet Options. On 'General' tab, click on 'Delete Cookies'. Simple and free. I know Mozilla has the same capability. and I am sure most other browsers do. Either on the preference page, or options.

Ccleaner free and easy to use. But if you go to top of web page tools internet options delete files delete cookies clear history, content clear ssl state autocomplete clear forms. Then go to your C drive Windows prefetch delete all thats there but not layout. That should clear up an lot of cr.p. and speed things up a bit. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

My brouser Mozilla Firebird has a feature under "Tools" that clears personal data. I run "Ad-Aware, "Search and Destroy" and AVG Free to eliminate unwanted items. Most cookies just let you onto a site and are harmless. Ad-Aware lets me spare harmless beneficial items.
