How do I get AVG updates to a computer without internet?

    Tim R gave you the right answer so I won't repeat it. Just wanted to add that if your friend can't get on the internet then it's not as critical that you get the updates to them. Viruses do not spontaneously generate. They have to come from someplace and these days one usually gets them via the internet. You can get them other ways. If you friend adds any software to his/her machine either by inserting a disk (floppy, cd, etc) or jump drive, or hooking up to someone else's ipod, etc. then that computer can become infected. But most often it happens via the internet (web sites, email, IM'ing, etc.) so you can perhpas afford to be a little more lax in this situation.

You cannot update your avg without having an internet connection but one way is to download avg updates weekly from avg site or certain downloading sites,check your avg version like 5.0.2 so if u see version like 5.0.3,then it is new version then download it and install it on your computer without removing the older version,so it will automatically update it
