    Ok, you might think looks are everything in the acting industry, but the real big shot filmakers mostly care about the acting, so if you got the acting then your in. And if you're too worried about the looks, no worries, just go to the gym or take walks everyday. I'm an overweight person who is trying to make MY dreams come true and become a famous singer. But as I said, to be a singer, you have to have the voice, not the looks. So in acting, you have to have the looks, BUT MOSTLY the acting, the talent. So, to get people to know you have the talent, do skits, tape them, and post them on youtube and other sites like MySpace (only if you have one), also do plays in school or in your city, etc. If you want to take an acting class, search for one near you, and if there is one that's quite a ways away, then you'd better have commitment to acting and go to that school. If it's a dream you want to happen, try and make it happen! To search for classes that are legit, search for some near you, as the list appears, choose some class sites, if they look legit, if they are legit, and you visited the school to make sure it's legit, then it's legit. You must always visit the school to see in person what they offer, it's your dream, you want the best of the best. 1st of all, agents don't cost anything, and if they do, it's a scam, so don't worry about getting an expensive agent. Start off small, get some experience by taking acting classes and participating in local drama productions. once you have a pretty good resume, look around for an agent. a local agent is best right now, but you should eventually build up to getting an agent in one of the bigger cities in Australia. Being overweight does absolutely not lower your chances. The acting world needs people of all shapes and sizes. sharpen your skills, and remember, this is going to come with a lot of work, but don't give up on your dreams.
