What is your experience with sustainable solutions?

I keep getting rejected for having too much non-relevant experience.  Solutions?

• I have had numerous interviews throughout my post-MBA quest for gainful employment.  The problem here, is that my pre-MBA employment is somewhat, shall we say, colorful.  I spent some time doing design, some time doing project management, and some time doing business and marketing analysis in the medical/pharmaceutical field, and an internship doing marketing.  The issue here is that, if I apply for a job that requires design, they will say I have too much marketing experience.  If I apply for a job that requires project management, they will say I have too much marketing experience.  If I apply for a job that involves marketing, they will say I have too much project management experience.  If I apply for a job that requires two of the things listed above, they will say I have too much of the other two things.  And since these fields have little overlap, I feel like I'm stuck in a hard place.  Although I do submit customized resumes for each position, I don't feel I can modify further without flat-out lying on my resume.  Thoughts?

  Go work for a start-up. They need people like you. You should also learn to code, you would be a star-ups wet dream.
