Coloring Line art in Gimp?

I need help coloring line art in Gimp, but all the tutorials I find are Photoshop, also, here is the pic I want to color: http://picup.toadscastle.net/images/akamaru.png

Answer:
just use the paint bucket in the toolbox. choose your color and click the area you want to color. if it doesn't fill the whole area, adjust the slider in the tool options pane. then touchup with paintbrush tool. is that what you meant?
