  • Answer:

If you take a ball of clay, push a thumb into it and then pinch around to thin it and form it - that is a pinch pot. If you roll lumps of clay out into "ropes" or "snakes" or coils, you can put them down round and round the edges and build up the walls of a pot, blending the coils together. If you use a roller to make flat slabs of clay of uniform thickness and cut shapes out with a knife, you can put the shapes or slabs together into vessels or sculptures by joining the edges in slab construction. No its not hard.
