Are the more exspensive 3d glasses better then the cheap ones like you get at the movies?

Answer:
The ones at the movies and the ones for TV are two completely different technologies and are not compatible. You can't use the movie ones at home nor can you use the home ones at the movies. The movie ones are simple polarizing filters, the ones at home have electronic shutters that sync with the TV display so the left eye only sees the image meant for the left eye and the right eye only sees the image meant for the right, they alternate very fast. You don't realize it while watching but you are actually seeing the image with one eye at a time. mk
