Why does my computer screen turn purple for a few seconds?

  • The screen turns purple than returns to normal leaving any text blurred for about 5 seconds. any help would be great thanks

hi, this is probably coz of your cable from the monitor to the computer. mayb shaking abit , some of the pins are. generally there is three color pins for Red Green and Blue- RGB. so when one of this isn't trasmitting well at a time then there will be color distortion. could be the green one.

Have you made sure you Cable is pluged in right ? Sounds like a lose wire mate !
