YOU need to turn it off, then back on again...As the power on self test is about to finish, but before windows begins to start, press and hold the f8 key (HOLD DOWN THE F8 KEY) UNTIL you get the advanced start up menu. Choose safe mode. IT will take quite a long time for windows to start this way, but when it does start, you will be offered the choice to continue on in safe mode, or USE SYSTEM RESTORE to return your windows to a prior point in time when everything worked okay. IF you're not sure which restore point to use, I'd go for the oldest one, and not the most recent, myself. This should do the trick for you...

It is possible that the problem is your battery. Plug the power cord into the computer and wall outlet and let is sit over night - then try it. It is also possible that the battery itself is bad and won't hold a charge
