You can simply go to an unlocking provider such as Instant Unlock. Enter the IMEI code (Type *#06# on your phone), Input all other details in their online calculator and in a matter of a few minutes Instant Unlock will calculate the unlock code for you.

Hey Junett, I completely understand why you would feel that way about the price and unlocking online, i would too. The thing is that if you go to a retailer locally, the would charge you $50 or even more. The reality is that these retail shops also get their unlock codes from unlock servers. Unlock servers such as InstantUnlock.net charge you only $9.95 to unlock. So you can see the retailer make $40 to unlock your phone. Unfortunately, there aren't any free unlocking solutions out there. Simply because it would cost anyone money to calculate the unlock code. But i think paying $10 for this is not a bad deal at all. Heck you can even make some money if you know a lot of people that are looking to unlock their phones. Hope that helps you out.
I got 2 of my my Blackberry phones (9780 and 9900) unlocked on http://www.blackberry-unlocking.org for 10 dollars. The service is legit and about how to unlock, well you need to get the unlocking code for your Blackberry and it's a unique code for each single mobile phone. You can also try to get it for free from your carrier but basically i have used online services many times and, well.. same as i tell my parents - the real world is not safer. just use a good service with support. You can also find instructions about how to unlock your model on many websites that also provide the unlock codes like Blackberry unlocking which i have used to get my Blackberry phones unlocked. It's really simple to do things online, there are things like paypal that makes it easy to shop online safely..
