  One way is to download and install iTune (latest version). Once install, search for Media Monkey, download it and install it. Reboot computer, connect the iPod but do not sync with iTune, open Media Monkey and sync with Media Monkey. Got to the music folder and check that the music from the iPod is already in the music folder after the sync. If it is, open iTune, click File, click Add file to library, search for the music that you want in iTune. Once in in iTune, sync the iPod, you will get a warning about loosing everything in the iPod, don't worry, for as long as you have the latest IOS firmware, you won't loose anything, so go ahead and sync. That should get the songs from the iPod to your new computer. Also you can get an SD card to transfer it if you still have the old computer. Another way is to share your iTune library with the new computer, this will allow to have the music from your original iTune library to the computer you want to share, you have up to 5 computer to share with.
