Comcast digital transport remote?

How can I get HD channels through comcast without a cable box or digital transport adapter (DTA)?

    In the states the law is that the cable companies must transmit local HD channels "in the clear". Your other, specialty channels, don't fall into this law. Here's what you can do. Split your coax cable in two. Run one end directly into the TV, and the other into your DTA box. That way you'll get all your channels, and some in HD. (Just switch between, TV and input). - 17R3W
