If you're driving the car at all, you need to be added as a driver. You're covered, but the company is entitled to know that there's a new driver coming aboard. Failure to notify them could void your policy, especially if you've been driving for any length of time.

well when you are using your moms car you dont need to be added! but make sure you carry the insurance info with you just in case you get pulled over and yes when you get your own car you need insurance!!!!
