Other answers

yes u can do the swap cuz ive dont it but instead of a si yead i used a 97 ex head on my 92 dx block all u need is a 92-95 single vtec head gasket and timing belt and use the head bolts from the dx cuz the si head bolts are to short and u will strip the block when u torque them also when u take off the dx head there is a copper looking plug in the middle of the block towards the firewall and u have to take that out or ur vtec will not work cuz there is already a plug in the head and the pressure wont be correct for vtec if u leave the other plug in there, i have a right up on nyce1.com on how to do it its called a mini me swap

civic guy

Yes it do. Everything possible with Civic, especial Vtec head. For sure Si head can be put into the DX. Not hard if you mechanic incline. Nothing better out there than Civic. Honda do rock!!!!
