Why do people donate to the world vision scam?

  • Answer:

I DONATE TO WORLD VISION BECAUSE I BELIEVE THAT BY HELPING A CHILD IN NEED I CAN HELP TO MAKE A BETTER WORLD. 1) They probably have class A buildings for corporate offices around the world. For many reasons I suppose a Class A building means there energy efficient, Have lots of windows and are generally a place that us westerners would enjoy being in for long hours each day. Many kind hearted people spend countless hours each day volunteering. And just like I expect my employer to maintain a decent place for me to work I am glad that these organizations provide good places for people to work in too. And being efficient means that in the long run the building costs less to maintain that means more money can be directed to programs. And this organization is in it for the long run they have been around for more then 25 years I know that because I have been sponsoring children through them for that long. (I believe they have been around for over 50 years.) Might I suggest that you put a little faith into one of these child sponsorship charities, (It doesn't matter what one you chose.) and try it for yourself. If you can spend a year at it, Truly engage with the child or children you sponsor, Write! send small gifts(Stickers, note books ect.) pictures of you or your family ect. And at the end of the year not feel good about what you have done then I declare you truly do not have a heart. I know from the many updates I have receive that I have made a difference for many children I first really knew when I received an updated photo of a child I had been writing to for 8-9 months. And from the picture that was originally provided to me to the one I received in the update you could easily see by the look on her face that she appreciated the letters and the fact that because I was sponsoring her she was able to go to school.

I, personally, would never trust a religious organization. I don't care what religion in the world it is, they are all a scam. Religion is the biggest BS in history. All religious leaders are very smart and intelligent. The people who believe and follow them, are stupid! I really love helping people, but I would never trust any of these organizations. I donate to legit organizations like The American Red Cross since they are government funded. Christian organizations make money with the people's donations. If you really wanna be good people, then donate to something where you are SURE that it goes to the place you want it to go instead of relying on these heartless organizations

WORLD VISION IS HONESLY A COMLETE SCAM. I AM IN AFRICA AT THE MOMENT AND ALL THE MORE THAN A MILLION ORPHANS I HAVE MET HERE THERE IS NOT EVEN ONE WHO HAS RECIEVED ANY HELP FROM WORLD VISION. Where the is smoke their is fire-an African Proverb. I would want you all to very much take seriously the issue that has been raised here. I am in Africa, specifically Kibera slums and i can tell you that World Vision has not done anything to help the orphans and vulnerable children in the worlds largest and poorest slum. It is just that the people in the slums do not have any means to report them. World vision comes and takes photos of needy children just as a publicity stunt and then never help. I would want all of you that donate to world vision to ask them to give you at least one tangible evidence that they help orphans in the slums and ask for those peoples contacts to verify. Better still, come to Kibera slum yourself and do the rounds and look for just at least one project World vision is supporting-There is NONE. What is more annoying is the fact that they lie they are helping orphans but they are indeed not. All of you giving your money to World Vision, it is better to look for an orphans center or school in the continent you want to support, get their address and donate to them in any way you could instead of giving it to World Vision. They are a complete scam. Seriuosly. Make it to the worlds largets slum-Kibera and you will see nothing World vision has done there.
