The basic engine is the same but there will be some smaller differences. The PCM is different as are some of the sensors and engine wiring harness. Grab the computer and wiring harness from the 98 when you swap it into your 95.

The engine is the same with the difference on the crank bearings are reversed on the 95. As for some of the plugs and outlets you could switch out the sensors to accept the current wiring harness then you would not have to change out the PCM unless your going from a DOHC to a SOHC or vise versa
