  Vast is a data platform that originally had multiple verticals, including pets and rare cars. A decision was made by the management team to focus the company on three broad verticals that had the biggest opportunity (autos, real estate, travel). There is no clear relationship between the three and they could run as three separate businesses -- although the systems behind them have been standarised from the search engine ranking to the billing process and so theoretically Vast could add new verticals with increasing economies of scale.
