Personally, I feel that leadership is tha ability to lead a group of followers. It is never easy to be a good leader. As a leader, you have to be fair to all your followers. Some followers are not as active or hardworksing as the others. But you must make sure thetreatment to each individual is fair. For workers who is hardworking, they deserved more reward than those who are not so hardworking. Good leader must not be biased. If the leader is being biased towards anyone, the follower will never a a fair treatment. he will always be penalised for minor error that he/she made. This will demoralised the worker morale. The leader must always to listen to the concern of the followers. He/She have to take actions that benefit to the organistion and not benefit to one person while no benefit to others. So to be a good leader is not easy as most of us cannot be fair or unbiased to others.

A Leader does not need to be pushed to "step out" first, and is willing to take the consequences of his/her actions.

Leadership is the ability to convey a vision and path to reach it along with the ability to motivate others to work in that direction.
