Universal Studios Parks/Orlando in mid August with a fast pass? How long of a wait are the rides?

My son and I went over Memorial Day- we stayed at the hard Rock Hotel so our room key doubled at a x-press pass and it was WAAAAY worth it. The Spiderman Ride for example had a 60 minute wait when we first walked up- we bypassed the whole line and just had to wait for the next car to come up and we were on. My son loved it so much we got back into the xpress line and waited like 2 minutes.. we seriously could have done on the right 4 or 5 times in the time most people were just waiting in line. I think the longest we had to wait was like 15-20 minutes for the Shrek ride.. but still better than waiting over an hour and sitting in the hot sun waiting. I would pay extra for the xpress pass/ stay at the universal resort again in a heartbeat. Because of the quick lines we were able to finish at the parks by like 2pm each day (got there at 9) so we were able to go back to the hotel and play in the pool for the rest of the day

About 20 minutes. Some around 1/2 hour. Some on within 5 minutes!

With the express pass (fast pass is Disney), you won't wait over ten or fifteen minutes per ride most likely.

It is really fast with a fast pass, not much waiting at all.

i went to universal last august and it is PACKED!!!! i waited in like for 3 hours to ride the incredible hulk, and 2.5 hours to ride dueling dragons. its crazy during the summer! With a fast past on the other hand, you will prob wait an hour at the most, and as less as 5 min. :)

During peak times, the wait can be up to half hour. The fine print on the express pass is "each attraction can only be ridden ONCE" regular express pass the cheaper one. If you enjoyed the attraction and would love to ride it again you will have to wait in the regular lines. The attractions lines can be more then 3.5 hours wait, the hulk had over a 4 hour wait time by lunch time (only 3 hours after park opens) when rides lines get to a certain waiting time, the will not allow an more riders join the line to hope all can ride before park closes. They offer an express plus pass so you can ride each ride more then once.. the cost of the passes start at 20 bucks for single ride and 45 bucks for the unlimited express pass, this is per Peron not including taxes. expect for a 0-30 min wait even with the fast pass. have fun, wish i was going.

Universal Studios does not have a fastpass, that is what Disney World offers. Universal offers a pass called an "x-press" pass which is basically a regular day ticket with an extra cost added on to get you onto a faster line. Since not many people buy these x-press tickets the lines will be significantly shorter than stand-by lines but for popular rides you could still wait for up to 40 minutes, depending on the day, weekends will be busier.
