What's a good ipod-compatible car stereo?

My car stereo/cd player keeps going off after about one song , I dont know whats wrong with it.?

    are you running subs? 90x4? that sounds a bit high for a CD player. you may be overheating it, or it may be faulty power supply wiring.

Sounds like its an internal short. If the entire player is shutting off, completely powering down with no lights on it could be detecting some sort of short circuit and is preventing any damage from occuring. It could be mis-wiring the speakers/amp or it could be inside the player itself. I do not know how to fix that kind of problem.
