What kind of amp should i use for a 15" subwoofer?

I have two 15" subs in individual boxes and I havent installed them yet. I think I'm only going to put one in my car, two might be a little too much. I need an amp but I'm not sure ...show more

Hey, we can't help you out unless we know more about the subwoofer itself. And there are millions of options. Find out the RMS wattage rating of the subwoofer, NOT the MAX power rating. Find out the impedence of the subwoofers also (it is measured in ohms, normally 2 or 4 ohms for subs.) Find out the ratings of those subs or just tell me exactly what kind you have and email either the name or the specs and i can tell you what to get for those particular subs that will give it the most power.
