I would like to delete avatar silhouette. How can I do it?

I don't know how the silhouette got on there. Purely accidental. I want to delete it and can't find out how to do it. I have tried and tried.

Answer:
If you create an avatar you can edit your profile to show it. Just go to avatars make some up, pick one you like and then go to you main page and click edit my profile. I know it wasn't easy to do, but i did it. I' m no genius, believe me.
