What do I need to take with me to get a passport at the post office?

photos, that meet passport requirements. A certified Birth Certificate that has the raised seal. And your driver's license or state issued ID card. Bring your check book too. but don't right any check out yet. you will likely have to right 2 or maybe 3 different checks. If you don't have passport photos, you will need to go to a post office that does the photos.
