Why do all of those Email Scams come from Nigeria?

Not ALL scams come from Nigeria. Not ALL of those E-mails are used by Nigerians. Africa and Nigeria are just the most popular and logical places for them to use to illicit sympathy for their sob stories. However, if I ever see Africa or Nigeria used, it would be a HUGE tip-off of a scam!
