How can I edit my My Yahoo?

How do I edit my yahoo!ID? By accident my Yahoo!ID is really my email address - I can't edit on "my account"

  • Tried editing "My account" as well as "public profile" but neither allow you to edit member ID. Called tech support and 2 people (including supervisor) ...show more

    The only thing you can change in your account is your password along with some other info. However, you are not allowed to change your ID. You can only change your ID when you quit Yahoo and then re-register. But even then, your original ID will be in their database for at least three to four months, Contact Yahoo direst if the above is not what you are looking for.
