  Euston is North-ish and not too far from Camden Town, so that's a good place to check out for pubs and small music venues if you like the indie music scene. A quick Google will tell you of good places to check out in Camden, like along Camden High street - just make sure you don't stray too far, as the area isn't exactly the safest to be wandering around in at night randomly. Most of the clubs and nicer bars are in the West End (still - within Zone 1), like the ones the celebrities frequent (Chinawhite, Mahiki, Cafe de Paris) which are around Piccadilly / Green Park. Since the Tube shuts a bit after midnight, find out which night bus you can take back to Euston (there'll probably be quite a few). A bit less West you have Covent Garden and Leicester Square/Soho, which will have a few smaller bars and pubs where it might be good to wander around or barhop. It definitely thrives at night, since it's a very touristy area (but lots of young Londoners go out there too of course!) Upper Street in Islington is okay; it's a nice strand of bars, cafe's and restaurants - I mention it mostly because it's North-ish like Euston (get off at Angel station).
