What is the best way to get from New Orleans airport to the Carnival Cruise ship terminal?
-
I'm wondering if the Carnival shuttle that charges nearly $50 is worth it or if I should try to catch a cab. Anyone know?

Answer:
A taxi from the airport to the cruise terminal is $28 for two people, or $12 per person for three or more, plus a $1 fuel surcharge. There may be small additional charges for luggage. There is a shuttle from the airport to downtown for $15 per person, and the shuttle goes to the cruise terminal. http://www.flymsy.com/ You can also arrange for a taxicab in advance (to or from the cruise terminal) and United is a good company: http://www.unitedcabs.com/id1.html
