I am taking a cruise to Alaska in July and I am flying to Anchorage. What is the best way to get to Whitter?

I would not take a cab that would be so expensive, It is about an hour. There are 2 options most of the cruise lines offer. 1 is the bus that you will need to get at the airport. The other is the train. I am not sure of the details for the train, but the hotel I am getting ready to tell you is right by the train station. This is the hotel I send all of my clients to Confort Inn Ship Creek. It is a really nice hotel. The creek runs behind and when we stayed there people were salmon fishing it was really cool. Whitter is just outside of Anchorage. Did you buy ground transportation with your cruise ? If yes, the cruise line will have a bus to take you to the ship. If No then a cab. As for hotels you can type in Anchorage & follow the links.
