How to apply on Disney cruise ship?

What Disney Cruise Ship Would You Suggest?

  • I'm booking a Disney Cruise, but I don't know what ship is better... The Disney Dream or the Disney Magic? Which has more kid things? Which has more entertainment? and so on. ...show more

  • Answer:

WB was way off. Disney has 2 cruise ships in their fleet. Mostly they are sister ships. Both were built in 1998-1999. Both were refurbished in 2005/2006. Both are 964 feet long, hold 2,500 people, and weigh 83,000 tons. They have the same number of inside cabins, outside cabins and suites. They are sister ships so it really doesn't matter what ship you pick. Disney Magic- http://vacationstogo.com/cruise_ship/Disney_Magic.cfm Disney Wonder- http://vacationstogo.com/cruise_ship/Disney_Wonder.cfm The Disney Dream will be the 3rd ship in their fleet but they just started construction on that this year. It won't be completed for over a year. Of course if you are planning this cruise like 18 months out, I'd go on the Dream since it will be the newest. But they don't even have an expected date of completion, an itinerary, or even an actual layout yet in order for you to book cabins. No point in researching it until you can at least get some idea of what cruise you would be taking. The other two ships started out in Port Canaveral and had their maiden voyage in the summer so I'd imagine this one will as well.
