    just cant be scared to do it. I am 250 pounds and only 5 foot 9 I can do it very easily just tell yourself you can then do it man seriously!!

no laughing but i am a 17 year old male cheerleader i am the best tumbler on my team and i have taken mma, the best thing to do is a back bend with feet on floor, then once your comfortable do a walk over try putting your weight to your chest and go over, it helps the motion of your body going around then you wanna jump and bring you legs as high to your chest as possible it will get you used to the tucking part and you will increase your heights. use mats once your ready all you wanna do is jump through your toes as high as possible thro your arms up once your at the peak of your jump you thro your knees to your chest an wrap arms around your legs it important to not jump backwards you wanna jump straigh up good luck and ask if you need anymore advice

How I learned how to do a back flip was with a lot of practice and a lot of help from friends. We would start with a back bend and then the other person would help to flip the legs over. It took me a while to be able to do it on my own but we had a lot of fun trying. It also helped that one of my friends was a cheerleader and all ready knew how to do it.

most important thing first... practice it in the pool... here's the secret... close your eyes and do the backflip in your mind, then open your eyes and let your body follow what you just thought of... other that, enroll in a gymnastics class... be safe

The best thing to do in practive doing a back bend, at my gym they have this thing called back bend walk over and basically you jump on this big rollie ball and kick over and land on your feet. try a trampoline also good luck!
