How can I learn to do a backflip!?

  • I can do a front flip and bend back but i can't get my legs over to do a backflip.. there are no gymnastic or tumbling places around for me to learn. no one around can spot me ...show more

    use a trampoline...if you have a trampoline or you know someone with one just try it. start off by going slightly sideways when u flip so you can get used to it.then after you feelk comfortable with it try going straight back,its not as hard as u think its just hard the first few times.i know it can be hard to overcome that first time fear but just like anything practice makes perfect.hope i helped.

Practice doing backwards rolls. Thats somthing you can practice without spotters. It will at least help you get the feel of going over backwards. Search http://youtube.com for "back flip tutorials". Or Search http://ehow.com for "how to do a back flip".
