Who would play Ben Cousins in an Underbelly sequel?

I think actors would be falling over themselves to get the part. Just imagine the interest if a show was done on Ben Cousins life. It would be better than any fiction story any writer could dream up.

Jason Donovan! His past history places him in good stead to play the role of Cousins. And it would need to be over about 20 episodes - to cover all of Cousins' transgressions.

well season 2 is based on Sydney, so i hope Season 3 could be based on Perth. Not much as happened however would have to make up a pretty good story line for it. Im sure John Kisim and perhaps Gardiner, Cousins and Kerr would be in an episode or 2 for drug connections. I like myself as playing for cousins, same height, they would need to beef me up on the special effects for body size. haha I dont know that kids name but that dude from home and away looks a bit like cousins who can act. Hyden i think his name is. And that other tanned dude who used to date that bella chick on the show who later when to the strip he has black hair as well he would play dan kerr. By the way WCE21, (THE BIG Q) if the cousins doco gets the go ahead it will be a war of who gets the rights to show that. Now that will make millions and sky rocket the ratings

Well, in the original series they got the likenesses of the real peole to the actors very very close and I don't know anyone who looks remotely like Ben Cousins. Maybe Daniel McPherson but he is too pretty. There is only one Ben Cousins so he would have to play himself. AND Hands up out there if YOU can be linked to a crime figure in some way?? I am guessing that there was nothing illegal taking place on the phone tap otherwise Ben would have been arrested so I think let's just leave him alone to do what he wants to do and that is get on with his life without having to report every time he sneezes or burps or f whatever........

Channel Nine would get millions of viewers if they made an underbelly kind of tv series based on Ben Cousins. I would watch it & pay to watch it, the stuff he has gone through in the last year or two is really an intresting, tragic and unpredictable story that would catch mine and heaps of other peoples attention.
