    i would reccomend riding bareback. It will teach you your balance probably more than any book will. It sounds like a nice book though. If you have time to read it i say go for it. I don't think it could hurt anything. Just be open to other people suggestions. Some people are religious about what they read in books. The best way i learn is by figuring it out myself. Especially balance. I ride my one horse bareback everyday and alot of people comment me on my seat. Bareback will make it very strong.
