Answer:
put your hands on your kidneys and breathe from your stomach till you feel them expand. Make sure you hold your chest still, if it moves that means you're shallow breathing. Take baby steps, trying too much (like vibrato) too fast can damage your voice. ALWAYS warm up before singing at full volume. This site has a lot of helpful tips and they sell drills and scales that help a lot with control.
