How can i get noticed as a singer?

i've had a dream of becoming a famous singer, and i know i'm young for it, but i wish i knew how to work my way up and just get noticed as a good singer... any tips? I am good ...show more

well if you're interested getting into that field.. start small [school events, local coffee shops, venus, etc.] then maybe record on your computer [garage band for mac is your best bet] once you feel confident go to your nearest recording studio and make an ep. put that on youtube/the last fm/ myspace/facebook so you attract attention once you've gained somewhat of a fan base make your actually anticipated cd still keep finding shows and areas to perform...you might get lucky =D

It is hard to live from music. Maybe impossible. You can actually achieve something with a lot of luck but famous... forget it better. It is very competitive and the record companies are not very friendly towards new artists. I would suggest you do it via education.
