Here are three easy ones; Baked Potato Salad Ingredients -- 1 pkg. Frozen Southern Style Hash Browns or Potato O’Brien (Keep Frozen Until Ready To Use) -- 1 pint Hellmann’s Real Mayo -- 1 med. onion, chopped -- 1 container of bacon bits (Real or Imitation) -- 1 lb. Velveeta (or generic), (diced) Preparation Pre-heat the oven to 350°F. In very large bowl combine all ingredients. You may have to bang the package of hash browns against the counter to break them apart. Once all ingredients are thoroughly mixed, pour into greased 13” x 9” pan. Bake for 45 minutes or until the top starts turning golden brown. GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE Ingredients: 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup 1/2 cup milk Dash ground black pepper 4 cups cooked cut green beans 1 1/3 cups French's® French Fried Onions Directions: MIX soup, milk, black pepper, beans and 2/3 cup onions in 1 1/2-qt. casserole. BAKE at 350°F. for 25 min. or until hot. STIR . Sprinkle with remaining onions. Bake 5 min. TIP: Use 1 bag (16 to 20 oz.) frozen green beans, 2 pkg. (9 oz. each) frozen green beans, 2 cans (about 16 oz. each) green beans or about 1 1/2 lb. fresh green beans for this recipe. WHIPPED SWEET POTATOES Ingredients: 24 oz sweet potatoes canned 4 oz butter unsalted ¼ cup maple syrup 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon of ground nutmeg ¼ cup brown sugar 1 cup pineapples chopped 1 cup marshmallows Non-stick cooking spray Preparation: 1. Boil the sweet potatoes in its own juices with a little water until they are tender. 2. In a mixing bowl whip the potatoes while mixing in the butter, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar and diced pineapples. 3. Spray a baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. 4. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. 5. Put the potatoes in the baking dish and place in the oven for half an hour to finish cooking the whipped potatoes. 6. Top the dish with the marshmallows, and put back in the oven and let the marshmallows brown. This should take about 12 minutes. 7. Remove from the oven and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.

What everyone considers essential Thanksgiving food varies, even from my family to my husband's family. Here's MY list of what my ideal Thanksgiving meal would include. Turkey cornbread stuffing--my dad's recipe mashed potatoes--real--not frozen or boxed gravy--preferably made by my dad--but I can do this too my sis in law's homemade rolls--they melt in your mouth green bean casserole broccoli and rice casserole sweet potato souffle--with the crunchy top, not marshmallows corn souffle fresh green beans fresh asparagus with hollandaise Then for dessert you've got to have pumpkin pie, but also my mother in law's pecan pie, my carrot cake, and my sis in laws pumpkin pudding (that's only 2 weight watcher's points each!). My kids insist upon my snickerdoodles as well as my other sis in laws sugar cookies.

Turkey: Thaw 3 to 4 days before baking. wash thoughroughly with very warm water in your clean Kitchen sink. Remove Giblets & neck (these are in the cavity) Make your stuffing according to the box Fill the Cavity mostly full as the stuffing will expand due to absorbtion of meat moisture. Put in a casserole pan. Preheat oven to 325. Cook your Bird 20 minutes for every Pound Example: An 18 lb. bird will cook for 6+ hours. Baste the bird about every 45 minutes. Add 10-15 minutes of bake time for every time you open the oven. This accounts for the cooling of the oven when heat escapes. Good luck

Goto marthstewart.com and look up some of her turkey and stuffing recipes. The one turkey recipe I use each year is one where she puts a folded piece of cheesecloth (that she's soaked in wine & butter) over the top of the turkey. The turkey comes out PERFECT each year and it stays JUICY! It's easy too. OR, goto the grocery store and she publishes a new magizine that's titled "Everyday Food". It's about 5" x 8" size - not regular magazine size. The November (thanksgiving issue) is out NOW and the recipes in there are quick enough and EASY enough. I use this book often - great, tasty recipes that are not terribly involved. I have 3 kids to look after and this has been a great reference to find new and quick things to make. This magazine even has the shopping list in the back for you to shop from!!!! Turkey, Gravy, Mashed potatoes, Peas or Brussell Sprouts or green beans, stuffing, rolls, pies, and good red wine. That's what graces my table thanksgiving
