    the vandoren v16 mouthpiece is ideal for moving away from the classical sound, though you can still play classical well. its also a good choice since you use v16 reeds, the combination was intended by vandoren. its still rubber though, if you want a metal mouthpiece youre going a completely different way, and may or may not be the result youre looking for. dont get me wrong though, metal mps are still really good and fun to play
